SINNERS IN THE HAND..

1.Edward wants his audience to be mindful of the things they do. Edward wants them to do it because if they sin once they would be sent to the pits of hell for their wrong- doing. He believes in scaring them.


2.Examples of images that Edward uses to achieve the greatest emotions would be, ''a great furnace of wrath, awed and bottomless pit, full of the fire of wrath , that is held over in the hand of god , whose wrath is provoked and incensed against you , as against many of the damned in hell."
